Performance
Testing:
Vo2 Multisport offers a full spectrum of testing
protocols that will be matched to an athlete's ability and needs. Director of
Coaching Ben Bigglestone, believes what does not get measured does not get
achieved. He believes in regular performance tests in all disciplines to ensure
the athlete continues to make adaptations. This includes monitoring areas such
as flexibility and muscular strength.
Training
Camps:
A subsidiary company, "@camp", handles the organization and
logistics of all Vo2 endorsed training camps. Director of @camp, Cindy Bigglestone, believes in creating an environment where all the athlete needs to
be concerned with is training eating and sleeping. Fully catered, athletes will
want for nothing whilst @camp with Vo2 Multisport. All rides and long runs
will have vehicle support and details even down to post workout ice baths are
taken care of.
Bike
Fit:
In the world of triathlon and time trial bikes, much is
made of the finer details of frame design, component selection and fit choices.
The truth is, there are rarely any straightforward answers. Most often, it
depends on the individual. Vo2 Multisport follow the guidelines of Dan
Empfield and his FIST principles of bike fit. Senior Fit specialist Cindy
Bigglestone (both Serotta and FIST certified) believes in fitting the bike
around the limitations of the athletes not vice versa. Her years of racing and
training at a high level combined with her bike industry experience have taught
her that a theory is only as good as its application.
